Learn More About Restoration & Recovery 5 Session Series

The Restoration & Recovery 5 Session Series was developed based on my training and experience working with clients who deal with ongoing stress related tension and neuromuscular related pain. Over time, I noticed that different types of bodywork support the body in different ways, and that sequencing them intentionally can help improvements last longer

  • This 5-session series is designed for clients who want steady, sustainable progress rather than temporary relief. It can be supportive for:

    • Ongoing muscle tension or discomfort

    • Stress-related bracing patterns

    • Neck, shoulder, hip, or low-back tightness

    • Limited movement or chronic stiffness

    • Difficulty relaxing during massage

    • Relief that fades quickly after single visits

The structure helps the nervous system settle, the muscles respond, and the results hold.

  • Clients often choose this series when:

    • One-off sessions haven’t been enough

    • Stress makes deeper work uncomfortable

    • They prefer a clear, integrated plan rather than just one technique

    • They’re recovering from a flare-up or stressful period

    • They want to prevent tension from building back up

The pacing allows the body to adjust without overwhelm.

  • All sessions take place in a quiet treatment room on a bodywork table. Depending on the session, work may include clothed somatic techniques, traditional draped massage, or time to integrate and settle.

  • The series includes five sessions in a specific order so each step supports the next:

    1. Somatic-Informed Bodywork (Restore):

Helps down-regulate tension, reduce guarding, and support breath and awareness so the body is ready for deeper work later on.

    2. Swedish Massage (Recover — Phase 1):

Uses gentle, flowing strokes to release surface tension, improve circulation, and support relaxation.

    3. Deep Tissue Massage (Recover — Phase 2):

Works slowly into deeper muscles to address chronic tightness, adhesions, and mobility restrictions.

    4. Trigger Point / Neuromuscular Therapy (Recover — Phase 3):

Targets specific pain patterns and muscle groups that may be contributing to discomfort or limited movement.

    5. Integrative Maintenance Bodywork (Maintain):

Blends techniques from earlier sessions to reinforce progress and support long-term balance and function.

Each session layers in a new level of support so change can build gradually and comfortably.

  • Many clients get short-term relief from individual sessions but notice their tension or pain returning quickly. A structured approach helps address both the nervous system and the muscular system, which often leads to more lasting relief.

Clients commonly share that they feel:

    • Less guarded or tense

    • More mobile and comfortable

    • Better able to adapt to stress

    • Relief that lasts longer between visits

    • More aware of what their body needs

The goal is to help the body do what it’s already trying to do — recover, repair, and maintain balance — with a little more support.
